In a recent ruling, the Israeli trademark office reduced the amount granted to cover the expanses of an opposer to a trademark.
The reasons to reduce to amount of granted expanses were:
1. The opposer did not ~file a detailed opposition, and ~filed its detailed claims against the trademark too late.
2. The parties negotiated and the negotiations were concluded in widthdrawing the trademark application.
3. The opposer did not prove actual expenses in the amount claimed.
